Gary Steficek is a founding partner of Gilsanz Murray Steficek, a structural engineering and building envelope consulting firm headquartered in NYC. In his 45 year career as a structural engineer he has worked on hundreds of new building and renovation projects.
Gary’s projects include the redevelopment of the iconic Woolworth Building to luxury residences, the expansion and renovation of the historic Yale Peabody Museum, the infrastructure upgrade of the 2 million sf JP Morgan Chase Headquarters at 270 Park Avenue, at the Empire State Building he analyzed the building to assess existing structural capacity to add antennae and broadcast capability to the existing spire, mast and building structure.
