Prior to a career in real estate, Mr. Barnett worked internationally in the diamond industry. In the early 90s, he recognized the potential of the real estate market in the U.S., and New York City in particular. With the support of several business associates, Mr. Barnett began acquiring real estate assets throughout the country and formed what is known today as Extell Development Company. A born-and-bred New Yorker, Gary received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Queens College and a Master's in Economics from Hunter College.
