Born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Gabriela Anker holds a Master’s degree of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Virginia. Gaby has worked for the offices of Rafael Viñoly Architects, Daly Genik Architects, Naga Studio of Architecture (Dubai-United Emirates) and LBL Architects.

Gabriela Anker is co founder of Leppanen + Anker arquitectos, and award winning architectural firm that has international experience ranging from Ecuador, Panama, Perú, Colombia among others. The firm specializes in the creation of architectonical spaces that take into consideration the needs of the clients with a strong interest in developing spatial experiences through a merger of contextual, cultural, sustainable and formal information.
