Frans de Witte is a Partner at MVRDV who leads the company’s Americas Studio and oversees projects in North and South America, as well as in the Netherlands. Since joining MVRDV in 1996, Frans has executed many successful MVRDV projects, such as Silodam, Radio Hotel and Tower in Manhattan, the sustainable office and laboratory complex Matrix 1 in Amsterdam, as well as 23-storey mixed-use building The Canyon in San Francisco. He is currently leading projects in the Netherlands, the USA, Canada and South America, including six residential towers in Ecuador, and a master plan for affordable housing in Boston.
