Fiona Cousins is a Principal in the New York office of Arup. Arup is a global multi-disciplinary design, engineering and consulting firm, with nearly 10,000 employees.

Fiona is the leader of the New York sustainability team, and one of the leaders of the mechanical engineering team. She has extensive experience in both sustainability consulting and mechanical engineering and is a frequent presenter on low carbon solutions. Her interest in low-energy design has developed throughout her career. Her projects include the California College of Arts and Crafts, Fulton Street Transit Center, the High Museum of Art Expansion and a sustainability Action Plan for the New York Power Authority. She is currently the chair of the US Green Building Council’s New York Chapter.
