Farshad Berahman is a Principal at Magnusson Klemencic Associates (MKA), an award-winning, 185-person, structural and civil engineering firm founded in 1920 and headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with a branch office in Chicago, Illinois.

With more than 20 years of design and structural engineering experience, Farshad is a skilled and thoughtful leader who has designed complex towers in many of the world’s most challenging locations. He is the leader of MKA’s High-Rise Structures Technical Specialist Team, helping to advance MKA’s capabilities in tall-building design related to wind and seismic engineering, including new forms of damping systems within tall towers for more efficient motion control. Farshad brings a collaborative approach with unique and innovative ideas to each of his projects.
