Erik Behrens is AECOM’s Creative Director and Design Studio Lead in London. His projects are innovative and express ambitious designs, many defying traditional architectural conventions. He has a keen interest in successfully integrating tall buildings into their site-specific urban context and demonstrating how these projects can create enjoyable living environments that enhance a city’s identity. Over the last 20 years Behrens has been involved in a series of high-profile, high-rise development projects such as the CBD Beijing, the Msheireb Downtown in Doha, the Karl Lagerfeld Hotel Residency, and a confidential Vertical City in the ‘megatall’ building category amongst other iconic structures.
