About
Edward is an Associate at RSHP and has a broad range of UK and international experience in different typologies, including rail, aviation, office, and residential buildings.
He has played key roles in the following projects: Four Seasons Hotel in Taipei; a residential tower in Philadelphia; a high-rise office in Toronto; the British Library Extension; a residential scheme for 2,000 homes across thirteen buildings in East London, and the adaptive re-use of an existing office building for life sciences also in London.
Edward joined RSHP to work on the design of Taoyuan Airport T3, initially with the London team, and then based in Taipei. This built upon his already extensive transport experience gained through delivery of Liverpool Street’s Elizabeth Line station, High Speed Two and the Northern Line Extension prior to joining the office. Since then, he has continued to develop and deliver designs for aviation and rail projects, including the line-wide concept design for Melbourne’s Metro Tunnel project, a scheme which will deliver twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations.
Edward is an ARB registered architect. He holds a first-class degree and a Masters level distinction in Architecture from Newcastle University, and qualified as an architect at The University of Cambridge.
Outside of work, Edward is a keen runner and has taken part in marathons all over the world.
