Diederik Dam, third-generation architect, passionately leads Amsterdam based Dam & Partners Architecten. Dam joined the firm that was founded in 1962 by his father prof. Cees Dam, after completing his studies at the Delft University of Technology in 1993. Highlights in his oeuvre include the award-winning European Patent Office in collaboration with Ateliers Jean Nouvel, sustainable office development Eneco Headquarters and Holland’s tallest building De Maastoren. Residential high-rise De Zalmhaven is scheduled to be completed in 2022 and will set a new record in The Netherlands with a height of 215 meters. Currently, Dam and his team are designing an 86-meter tall timber office building which is scheduled for completion in 2024.
