Derek Groenwoldt has been a member of the Elevator Community for almost 20 years, eight of which have been at Lerch Bates Inc. Since joining Lerch Bates, he has focused almost exclusively in New Design projects around the world, including Russia, Mexico, UAE, China, Korea, Australia, and the United States. Project types include supertall and megatall buildings, transit, healthcare, hospitality, office, and residential. Groenwoldt has risen to the position of Director of Architectural Design at Lerch Bates and continues to focus on large project design while also providing consultant training and support, and managing Lerch Bates internal processes.
