David is a Director at WSP and Head of the UK Building Services discipline. He has led teams on several of the tallest buildings in London, including the Shard, 22 Bishopsgate and 40 Leadenhall Street. He is particularly interested in the decarbonisation of tall buildings, and is working on several schemes to decarbonise live buildings through infrastructure upgrades and behavioural change.

He is a Fellow of CIBSE, a Chartered Project Professional (APM), a member of the British Council for Offices Technical Affairs Committee, an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer as well as a member of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard: Office Sector Group.
