About

Dave Freedman is based in Philadelphia, and works as an architectural designer at Foster + Partners. After having the fortunate opportunity to be part of the design team renovating the New York Public Library’s flagship Fifth Avenue location, he then worked on three successive high-rise towers: Comcast’s Innovation and Technology Center, a private residential tower in New York, and a mixed-use tower in Toronto.

Dave studied architecture in Toronto at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design (University of Toronto). In 2013, he received his Master’s Degree, the Alpha Rho Chi medal for leadership and service, and presented his thesis entitled, “A Prototype for a Tower of Unlimited Height”—a three-part proposition combining ideas of structural ingenuity, social integration and diversity, and expansive programming through apertures allowing natural light deep within the…
