About

Daiki Nakamizo joined Nikken Sekkei in 2008. He worked on the structural design of the two unique mid-story isolation buildings. One is Roppongi Grand Tower, which is the 230 m-high building in Roppongi, Tokyo, and another is DaiyaGate Ikebukuro, which is constructed straddling over railways. Also, he has the skills for generating simulated ground-motion for seismic design in many projects, and studies of vibration analysis. In 2016, he obtained a Ph.D. with a thesis regarding soil-structure-interaction and wave propagation.
