About

Jiang Chun is the Managing Director and Design Principle of JAE, Jiang Architects and Engineers – a Chinese architectural design practice based in Shanghai.

He studied architecture in Tong Ji University in Shanghai. After he graduated in 1992 with honour, he received CBI scholarship and took the opportunity to go to work in London. Since then, he enjoyed traveling and working as an architect in three of the most exciting cities around the world: London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. He spend 18 years working for well-known international companies such as Ove Arup, Richard Rogers partnership, Foster and Partners, IDA, RMJM as well as Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design and Research. In 2010, he joined JAE, a company set up by his father Mr. Jiang Huan Cheng – a senior member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, who was the project director and chief structural engineer of the shanghai pearl…
