Christian Heimple currently serves as Senior Vice President at Breakthrough Properties overseeing the firm’s global Design & Construction group and is responsible for the current development pipeline of 5 million square feet of life science facilities.

Christian was previously responsible for overseeing the construction of new commercial, retail, and residential properties in Brookfield’s New York City region including the company’s One Manhattan West project, a 2.1 million square foot commercial office tower located in the Hudson Yards District of Manhattan, the Retail at Manhattan West including a 2-acre public plaza, and Hudson Exchange, a new 18-acre residential development in Jersey City, New Jersey that encompasses over 6 million square feet of development. Christian managed the renovation of Brookfield Place, formerly World Financial Center, including the renovation of 250 Vesey Street, and the repositioning and renovation of 250,000 square feet of retail areas. Christian is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University and Master’s of Science degree from Stanford University.
