About

With over 23 years of experience, Chris currently leads one of Arup’s multi disciplinary building engineering teams. He is also the Structural Discipline Leader for Arup’s UK, Middle East and Africa Regions which represents around 450 Structural Engineers and Technicians. Currently based in London he has worked for extended periods of time in Los Angeles and Tokyo.

Having gained a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering from Liverpool University and subsequently a masters degree with distinction in Seismic Engineering and Structural Dynamics from Imperial College, London, Chris began work with Arup in 1990.

In his time at Arup Chris has delivered a significant number of challenging building projects with some of the world’s most renowned Architects. He has experience of working with a wide range of materials and systems on a variety of building types and sizes.
