Charu Thapar is a senior industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in real estate, of which 28 years are in Property & Asset Management. After serving as the head of PAM India business for four years, Thapar is now the Head of Strategy and Platform for PAM Asia Pacific. In her role, Charu is responsible to drive region-wide initiatives, including digital, clients, and growth. In her previous role as the Managing Director for Property & Asset Management services, she was responsible for the overall property management and its operations across a portfolio spanning 240 million sq. ft consisting of over 300 properties managed by a team of 2500 people spread across diverse asset classes.

Prior to joining JLL, Thapar worked with Cushman & Wakefield where she was the Managing Director – Asset Services Client Solutions, Asia Pacific with exposure to establishing, consolidating and implementing best practices in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia and India. She has expertise in Cost Management, Business Development, Client Relations, Technology and Systems as well as servicing various local and international clients. For her work, Thapar was awarded the “C&W Honors” the highest award within the organization.
