Mr. Fernández del Valle founded Taller G in 2012 with a group of collaborators that have worked together for more than 25 years. As Principal and CEO of the firm, Fernández del Valle provides overall design leadership for the firm’s projects. Under his direction, the firm has developed an international reputation for excellence and innovation in building design.
Throughout his 35 years of experience, there is a consistency in his approach towards projects and a philosophy of design that emphasizes three critical factors: Search for innovation in the planning and design process, the appropriateness of the architecture within its urban context or its natural environment, and a passion for detail in the architectural expression of the final building.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture with Honorific mention from Anahuac University, Mexico. His experience includes mixed use (Chapultepec Uno Mexico City, Las Rosas Square Guadalajara, Millenium Tower El Salvador), corporate (3M Mexico City, Liverpool Mexico City, Cinépolis Morelia, Oracle Jalisco), hotels (Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, Banyan Tree Hotel Acapulco, W Hotel Mexico City, Casa Cora Nayarit), commercial (Garden Santa Fe Mexico City), and housing (Rubén Darío Mexico City).
