About

L. Benjamin Romano is the founding architect of LBR&A Architects, a Mexican architectural firm. He studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City where he has taught since 1982.

He has over 40 years of experience in design and construction of architectural projects in four main areas: industrial buildings, housing, educational projects, and offices. Among some of them is Torre Chapultepec office building, the first intelligent building in Latin America built in 1989; Torre Bosques, the first column-free residential design in Mexico; and Tres Picos office building with the first robotic parking in Mexico City.

His latest project, Torre Reforma, a 57 story high rise building that is precertified LEED Platinum, and the tallest exposed concrete building in the world. Among some of Torre Reforma’s awards is the Diamond Award for Structural System at the ACEC New York 2016 Engineering…
