In recent years, he has taken on ultimate responsibility for several high-profile sustainable projects, including the transformation of the former Rabobank Headquarters on Fellenoord in Eindhoven into a new government office building, the Booking.com HQ in Amsterdam designed with Health & Well-Being principles, the energy-producing university building Echo for TU Delft, which was recognized as the world's best campus building, and the One Helix Life Science building, currently under construction, featuring a negative operational energy of -15 kWh/m² and a BREEAM score of 93% (Outstanding). In addition to his role as studio leader in the Amsterdam office, Arjan oversees UNStudio’ s global expertise centers in Digital Innovation and Sustainability Innovation.
