Amitabh Kumar has 34+ years of experience and has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (M.ASCE), since 2009.

He has worked with Indiabulls and K. Raheja Corp at Mumbai. He has closely monitored P&L as Head EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) at Puranik Builders Limited, at Mumbai (Thane), India.

He has been instrumental and actively contributed in design and construction of 250+ meters high Indiabulls Sky Towers and 240+ meters high K. Raheja Artesia Tower, at downtown, Mumbai. He was actively involved in a variety of projects like, tall luxury residential towers, affordable mass housing, Grade A offices and commercial buildings, IT Park, Composite and Steel Buildings, retail, hotels, Data Center, Training Center, Cable Duct, Fit out work, Telecom Towers during his long career.

He has widely used Tall Building Technologies like Auto Climbing Systems (Intensive training on DOKA systems at Austria), aluminum formwork, panel formwork, post Tensioning, and specialized equipment. He has worked closely on projects with globally reputed consultants like LERA, T.T., WPM, RWDI, AECOM, ARUP, and optimized designs resulting in large savings for projects.

He is a Member CTBUH Height and Data Committee (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat), since 2018, as an influential professional involved in engineering, planning, development and construction of tall buildings. He has published and presented paper on “High Rise SKY Towers, Mumbai – Construction Challenges” at the CTBUH World conference Seoul, South Korea in 2011 and paper on “Artesia Tower, Mumbai, India- Vertical Post-Tensioning of Reinforced Concrete Core Wall” at the CTBUH World conference Dubai, UAE in 2018.

He completed a certificate in Project Management (from several in class courses in Toronto) from University of Toronto in 2020.

He has concluded several key contracts and procurements leading to substantial benefit for projects. He has extensive knowledge of contract legal issues and was appointed as Sole Arbitrator, by Gujarat, High Court, for contract dispute resolutions. He is a strong promoter of advanced construction techniques and digital technologies in India.
