About

Agustí Obiol graduated in 1975 and earned his Ph. D. in 1977 from ETSAB Barcelona. During his professional life he has acquired experience in the analysis and design of a great range of structural typologies, as well as restoration and retrofit of architectural heritage, pathological analysis, high-rise and singular buildings.

He was a Professor of Structures I in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, in Valencia, in 1981. Two years later he transferred to the School of Architecture in Barcelona. He still holds this chair, which he combines with his work, courses and lectures.

Agustí is a founding partner of BOMAINPASA, a leading architectural structure consultancy in Spain, with over 35 years of experience. The company has collaborated in designing over 7,000 projects.
