Xavier Aguiló becomes an Engineer in 1999, when he starts his collaboration with BOMAINPASA (now BAC) Barcelona as structural consultant, becoming associate in 2001. From September 2007 to July 2018 he is the Director of the branch in Madrid. He is currently the UK Manager for BAC’s Building Department in London. He currently teaches Structures in the School of Architecture in the European University of Madrid, also in the Architectural Association in London and is technical tutor in Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Arts. He is especially interested in sustainable architecture and singular structures, having worked on many striking buildings over the last 20 years. He is fully engaged with integration between technology and architecture, having participated in projects with bioclimatic, sustainable and circular strategies.
