Agnes Koltay holds a Masters in Architecture (Hungary, USA) and a Masters in Façade Engineering (UK), and being based in Dubai, UAE, since 2005. Agnes has worked all her career at the facade engineering consultancy field. She has worked with award winning architects, such as Zaha Hadid, and international engineering offices, such as Meinhardt and Ramboll before starting her own specialist façade engineering consultancy firm, Koltay Facades, in 2011; which is now one of the largest specialist practices in the Middle East region. They work on several iconic high-rise buildings around Dubai, such as Sky View, Burj Vista, Fountainviews, Address The Boulevard Hotel, The Opus, Museum of The Future, and numerous mega-developments and landmarks out of the UAE. In July 2016, Koltay Facades has opened their second office in Singapore. Koltay Facades offers facade engineering consultancy and facade access strategy consultancy.

Agnes has been attracted to high-rise buildings from early childhood. Facade engineering is a field with perfect balance of aesthetical harmony, solid engineering and user centered performance. Her ability to understand the architectural design process and translate it to working technical solutions contributed to many successful projects, frequently introducing new approaches pushing technical limits. She carried out reserach on cold bent glazed unitized system in 2007 and implemented successfully on earlier buildings, as well as used pioneering techniques of double curved glazed facades and new composite materials. She and her firm developed a deep technical understanding of efficient design solutions for high-rise buildings, accross hot and cold climate conditions.

Agnes and her colleagues speak on conferences regularly, speaches including technical topics and case studies. Koltay Facades contributes to university programmes and arranges seminars to young talents and practicing architects and project managers. Agnes is a Fellow Member of Society of Facade Engineering, as well as Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and Member of the Society of Engineers UAE.
Earlier completed projects include (prior Koltay Facades) Glasgow Transport Museum, Dominium Building in Moscow, Dubai Festival City Crowne Plaza Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel and Commercial Tower, Liberty House in Dubai, Shining Towers in Abu Dhabi, just to name a few.

Koltay Facades' current ongoing projects include Zabeel Square in Dubai, Meydan Beach Hotel in Dubai, Address Jumeirah Gate in Dubai, Crescent Hotel in Baku, MOL Headquarters in Budapest, among many others.
