Rothelowman has designed a 22-story tower in Brisbane’s Kangaroo Point. Developer Aria has lodged a development application for the site at 58-62 Leopard Street, stating the proposed multi-residential building could act as a catalyst for future development in the precinct.

The proposed building features a distinctive painted art crown planned for the rooftop soffits. The crown will be built with a slight overhang so that, at night, the detailed underside will be illuminated for the public to see from the street below. The rooftop space will include outdoor dining areas and barbecue facilities; a pool, spa, and terrace lounge area; and an unrestricted view of South Brisbane and the D’Aguilar Ranges.

The staggered balconies of the 98 apartments, jutting out at alternating depths, will add a geometric pattern to the building façade.
