Plans have been revealed for three new developments in Tampa's Water Street neighborhood. These include an office complex, a mixed-use entertainment venue, and a condominium tower, which has the potential to become the area's tallest building. Strategic Property Partners is the developer for each of these new ventures.

CTBUH is still confirming the proposed height of the residential high-rise that will be located north of the 900 and 1000 blocks of East Cubmerland Avenue. Also located in that area will be th the office complex, designed to be flexible to suit tenant needs, and the developers stated it will be targeting large corporations eyeing the Tampa Bay area. The development will integrate retail spaces and new green areas along Water Street. The developers also acknowledge the lack of public transportation near the site, and will provide more parking spaces as this was a previous oversight in the intial planning.

The entertainment complex development, situated between South Morgan Street and South Jefferson Street, will feature a hotel, parking garage, and live performance venue. Stated by the developer that the intent is to enhance the area's vibrant atmosphere and complement the Amalie Arena.

Construction infrastructure work has commenced and this phase is slated for completion by spring 2025. While there's no fixed completion date, previous projects have typically taken around three years to materialize.
