Construction on two 54-story apartment towers called Toyomi District Cat. 1 Town Redevelopment Project started in early January 2023 after being pushed back since 2020.

The two towers will contain 2,077 apartments, though earlier plans called for less (2,150 units) and will replace the former Touroshi Toyomi Jutaku apartments. The new apartments are expected to range in size from around 30 ~ 150 square meters (323 ~ 1,614 square feet).

The six participating developers are Mitsui Fudosan Residential, Shimizu Corporation, Tokyu Land, Tokyo Tatemono, Nomura Real Estate and Mitsubishi Jisho Residence.

Completion is tentatively scheduled for 2027.
