A ceremony was held in Vienna early October to celebrate DC Tower III topping out . At this ceremony, guests were given a tour of one of the project’s show rooms. While the building is now structurally topped out, the project will not be handed over to its owners until 2022.

The project is 109.4 meters (359 feet) tall and holds 832 student apartments and serviced apartments. The three-dimensional façade elements create a window alcove in each of these rooms. Here the resident can study, chat, and relax while overlooking the Danube River and the surrounding city. Building amenities includes a fitness studio, an in-house cinema, and a rooftop bar.

The site is located near the underground rail line, the motorway, and the Reichsbrücke bridge. The project being so close to the underground rail line posed a challenge for the construction team. Special sensors that can detect even the smallest shifts in the ground ended up being installed on the site to monitor the ground conditions.
