The Net, a new office building being built in Seattle, is focused on human well-being, including some aspects in response to the pandemic.

The facility features a three-story rooftop “sky park” to provide occupants with access to nature and views. The building will not recirculate air, will provide filtered water, and a sensor system will monitor thermal comfort. Occupant health will be encouraged with an onsite bike storage and repair stations, as well as a 33-story circulation stair.

The connectivity highlighted by the stair will also be supported by a side core design, improving visibility across the floors. The column-free spaces will also allow for large-scale public amenities on the ground floor.

The project at 801 3rd Avenue broke ground in March 2021 and is expected to complete by early 2024.
