Residential Development by Yangtze River in Chongqing is Completed
Situated in the heart of Chongqing’s revitalized Shibati area, the recently completed 18T Mansion addresses the city's growing demand for quality housing while prioritizing well-being and sustainability. Developed by Guocoland and designed by UNStudio, the property spans two plots and features five residential buildings ranging from 16 to 51 stories.
With a total 1,046 units provided, the development is designed to foster a strong sense of community. The residential has received a WELL Platinum certification and sets a new standard for health-conscious living through biophilic design, natural ventilation, and diverse green spaces, including sky gardens, an aerial running track, and a "Shared Urban Garden" developed in collaboration with JTL Studio.
The development offers extensive communal amenities, with 10 clubhouses hosting 24/7 fitness centers, heated pools, art galleries, children’s playrooms, and social spaces, reinforcing a dynamic, multi-generational neighborhood. The design creates vertical communities, featuring open floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a tiered massing strategy accommodating 84 distinct unit types. Using a striking interlocking façade system, accented with brass and silver tones, the design creates a dynamic visual identity while addressing structural challenges. At the apex, penthouses provide panoramic views of the Yangtze River and Chongqing’s skyline. With its focus on livability, health, and architectural innovation, 18T Mansion embodies the evolution of high-rise residential design, seamlessly blending urban history with future-forward living.
