Residential Building in Austin’s Museum District Breaks Ground
The Linden, a 28-story residential tower in Austin's Museum District just north of the state capitol, broke ground 15 September.
Located at 313 W. 17th St. in Austin, The Linden will feature a total of 117 one- to three-bedroom units as well as several two-story penthouses. The 10th floor is fully dedicated to amenity space, including a lap pool, fitness facility and sauna, private dining/conference room, a resident lounge, a club room, and outdoor cooking space and a dog park.
At street-level community amenities will include a gallery featuring local and international artists, as well as a private resident’s lobby and concierge. The project developed by Reger Holdings was designed by Rhode Partners, and will be built by Bartlett Cocke.
Site preparations included the demolition of the former William Gammon Insurance building at 17th and Guadalupe streets.
Nearby, is Rhode Partners’ The Independent, a residential building also known as “Jenga Tower,” which opened in summer 2019.
