Construction has been approved for the first phase of NY Vue, a residential tower that could be the city's tallest. The 26-story, 155,000-square-foot (14,399-square-meter) site sits adjacent to the Hudson River waterfront. 

The developer is Om Ganesh LLC, a subsidiary of Ramani Group. Plans submitted contain 281 rental apartments ranging from studio to three bedroom configurations. A new public plaza will be added as part of the plans as well and will include retail space at the base of the podium. 

Jorge Mastro Architects Atelier is the architect and design plans include a 20-story recessed volume set over a six-story podium. The façade features a mix of tan cladding and windows set in a grid pattern.
