A public exhibition is being held for the Cockle Bay Park project. Henning Larsen was selected as the design architect in 2020, and they have worked with Architectus and McGregor Coxall to design the project. This project is meant to create a place of discovery, work, and wellness while bridging Darling Bay and Darling Harbour together.

The office high-rise will stand 180 meters (591 feet) tall. It will contain 75,000 square meters (810,000 square feet) of office space overall. The podium is four levels tall and will include shops, restaurants, and bars. These levels will provide 14,000 square meters (150,000 square feet) of retail space. The podium levels are intertwined with the surroundings to create a public park.

Originally, some in the city of Sydney had concerns that the project may overshadow the council’s Town Hall Square. However, the state government has constantly supported the scheme. The public exhibition started on 10 November and the project will remain on display until 12 December.
