A video has been released by ADS Studio Sarajevo showing 3D renderings of the proposed “Avaz Ski Tower” in Sarajevo.

In January 2020, The Municipal Council of the Center adopted a decision on changes and additions and implementation of amendments to the Urban Project “Centrotrans-Alhos” – Phase I, which laid the groundwork for the construction of a new tower.

The design calls for a mixed-use skyscraper, which is planned to host a hotel, residence, and a business center. The design also considers surrounding infrastructure projects such as the planned First Traversal highway.

The building is planned to rise 40 stories and with a height of 181 meters including its antenna, while without the antenna it reaches 151 meters. This would make it taller than the adjacent Avaz Twist Tower, the country’s current tallest building. The architects of Ski Tower are Faruk Kapidzic and Dario Bojanic.
