Stanford Homes has unveiled plans for a new development at 2775 Jane Street, North York, set to transform the Glenfield-Jane Heights neighborhood. The project, designed by Arcadis, will see the addition of a 30-story condominium tower alongside a 17-story rental apartment building, enhancing the area's vibrancy and connectivity.

Situated on the east side of Jane Street, the development aims to maximize density in this strategic location. The Zoning By-law Amendment application outlines a residential tower with 451 units, along with grade-related townhomes at the base. The tower, standing at 101.7 meters, will feature a podium transitioning smoothly from two to six storys.

The development emphasizes community amenities, with indoor and outdoor spaces totaling over 1,800 square meters. This includes expansive outdoor roof amenities and ample parking for both residents and visitors, along with dedicated bicycle parking.

Connectivity is a key focus of the project, with easy access to TTC bus routes and nearby transit stations. Residents will benefit from the upcoming Line 6 Finch West LRT, which will introduce a high-capacity rapid transit route along Finch Avenue West, enhancing mobility options in the area.

The development is part of a broader trend of densification in the neighborhood, with several other residential projects underway nearby. With its strategic location and focus on connectivity and community amenities, the proposed development is poised to contribute significantly to the ongoing transformation of North York's Jane Street corridor.
