Plans for an 18-story residential building, 266 The Esplanade at Miami, are awaiting approval by the Gold Coast City Council. If the plans are approved, the project would replace an existing 12-unit complex on the site. The proposed project would be located in the Australia's Gold Coast, and would have a height consistent with other projects in the area.

The project would be on a 94-square-meter (1012-square-foot) site opposite of North Burleigh Beach. It would contain 51 apartments: 35 two-bedroom units, 14 three-bedroom units, and two penthouse units. The developer of the project is Caydon Property Group, a Melbourne-based firm.

Taking inspiration from the nearby beach, the façade features fins that emulates how the light reflects off of the peaks of waves. These fins will also provide shading while the balconies will provide privacy. The project also plans for four basement car parks, communal areas, a pool deck, and a private rooftop terrace for the penthouse.
