Project Announced for a 250-Meter Residential Building in Asunción, Paraguay
Recently revealed, the Petra Imperiale project is a 250-meter-tall residential skyscraper in the city of Asunción, Paraguy's capital. This landmark development aims to elevate the city to a regional hub on par with South America’s other major capitals. The high-rise will feature units comprising studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and penthouses, with prices starting around US$66,900. Residents will also enjoy exclusive amenities across three levels, including a luxury spa on the 61st floor that also has panoramic city views.
The high-rise will also house an NH Collection hotel, marking the prestigious European brand’s debut in Paraguay. The hotel, part of the Minor Hotels chain, will combine elegance, comfort, and premium services, offering a standout experience in hospitality. A second 24-story tower is proposed alongside the 73-story building, will be dedicated to corporate offices and crowned with a rooftop bar. At the heart of the development is a European-style piazza evoking the charm of Rome’s Trastevere, complete with fountains, cobblestones, tree-lined pathways, an Italian restaurant, and a gelateria.
Financing options for the project will be provided by Banco Sudameris, ensuring accessibility and investment potential for buyers. The construction will be led by a partnership between AGB and Tecinci, two of Paraguay’s leading construction firms.
