Plans Submitted in the Gold Coast for a Curvaceous 47-Story High-Rise
Plans have been filed for a 47-story, 580 million AUD building at Broadbeach, featuring 115 apartments on a 2,024-square-meter site at 14-20 Mary Avenue. Designed by BDA Architecture, the tower will showcase a sculptural, curving facade and a champagne-tinted screen over the lower levels. The project’s mix includes spacious two- to four-bedroom units, along with seven full-floor, five-bedroom “sky homes” across select levels.
Amenities include two communal floors totaling 2,027 square meters with facilities such as a 25-meter cantilevered lap pool, spas, gym, wellness center, and a private residents’ lounge. Ground-level amenities will feature surfboard storage and a communal shower. The building will have cascading landscaped areas integrated into the open spaces and structure.
Construction is expected to start in early 2026, pending approvals. The land, acquired for 37.6 million AUD earlier this year from Sydney-based Bassar Group and Melbourne-based Little Projects.
