Plans for a mixed-use building have been submitted to the City of London for 55-56 Aldgate High Street. These plans were submitted by the architects of the project, Studio Kyson. If approved, this project would sit next to Minories Office, another proposed project which has already been approved by the City of London.

The proposed project for 55-56 Aldgate High Street is designed to be 14 stories. The ground level and first floor will contain office spaces. The second through thirteenth floors will comprise residential flats. The project will provide 41 flats in total.

The form of the project was inspired by tumbling building blocks. The base of the building is more regular than the top which becomes increasingly fragmented as the building elevates. The design used six different block units overall. The building be cladded in textured aluminum panels that will have a brown finish.
