Patient Tower Reaching 22 Stories Planned in Jaipur
The Jaipur Development Authority has started clearing the ground for Sawai Man Singh Hospital’s in-patient department tower and Institute of Caridiology Building in Jaipur. The 22-story building will reach 110 meters.
The existing staff quarters and cottage wards on the hospital grounds will first be demolished to make way for the project. The in-patient department tower will hold 1,200 beds. The project will have the state’s first helipad, and 20 operation theaters. The new mortuary will double the existing capacity.
The stone-laying ceremony will take place 15 August. Completion is anticipated by May 2023.
