Floreasca City Sky Tower, near the Promenada mall in Bucharest, is seeing about a third of its tenants coming to the office, a larger percentage than a few months ago.

"Once government measures relaxed, the use of the building increased slightly, and currently a maximum of 35 percent of employees come to the office regularly, in safe health, due to the fact that a large part of Sky Tower tenants have implemented office attendance programs by rotation, in order to minimize possible risks ", says Adriana Dragoescu, CEO of RPHI Romania (Raiffesen Property), the company that owns the building.

Sky Tower is 94 percent rented at the moment, and since the outbreak of the pandemic, there have been no requests for reductions or waivers of office space from tenants, even if the physical presence at the office is low.

For several months, the Nor Sky Casual Restaurant, on the top floor of the building, was closed, but on September 1, it reopened with certain mandatory safeguards in place.

Tenants in Sky Tower, owned by Raiffeisen Property, include Oracle, Raiffeisen Bank, APS Holding, AdsWizz, Tinmar, TSG, Estee Lauder, Sky Sky Casual Restaurant, Esilicon, Workspace Studio, IRIS, PRA, Gazprom, GMV, Panalpina, Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

Dragoescu also says that, at this moment, it is difficult to estimate when a level comparable to the one before the pandemic will be reached. Until then, the key word is “flexibility.”

"We are in the process of implementing a new concept for the lobby, to transform it into a flexible space, with multiple uses. Also, because we want to be close to the artistic community, we intend to transform a mezzanine area into a space dedicated mainly to the Sky Tower community, but also to cultural events (exhibitions, openings, concerts, etc.) and business."

The Sky Tower building, located between Barbu Văcărescu Street and Floreasca Street, is the tallest building in Romania, at 137 meters high and 37 floors.
