Designed jointly by HPP Architects and UNStudio, the completed 16-story building, Eclipse, was completed this year and has been occupied by tenants PwC Germany, an auditing and consulting firm. The high-rise is located at Kennedydamm in the Golzheim district of Düsseldorf.

Eclipse provides a contemporary office environment spanning a total floor area of 50,600 square meters and accommodating around 1,200 workstations. Employees can book their desks through an app and choose from various spatial options and interior designs, including single desks in private offices, open-plan offices, designated communication areas, and green outdoor areas. These areas are designed to be flexible and reversible, accommodating future needs.

The high-rise utilizes Smart Working Environment technology to control artificial light and ventilation based on the occupants' needs. This is achieved through 2,000 sensors that collect real-time data and transmit it to what is called a “smartengine”. As a result, the building can save up to 200 tons of carbon per year.
