A large residential complex is being constructed in the Moscow district of Maryina Roshcha. The project, named MOD, will contain six buildings in total: three high-rise buildings and three shorter buildings. The development’s area is about 2.4 hectares (5.9 acres). The project is being designed by Kleinewelt Architekten and the developer is MR Group.

The site was previously an industrial estate with two elongated volumes that ran in parallel lines from north to south. The new complex mimics this confirmation with the buildings arranged in two groups of three, running parallel from north to south. A promenade filled with varying functions runs between these two groups of buildings.

The eastern group of buildings contains two residential buildings that are nine stories tall. These buildings flank one of the high-rise buildings that has 44 stories. These three buildings share a two-story stylobate that holds shops and cafes. At the northern end of this group of buildings is a public plaza. Overall, this eastern group of buildings is meant to have more of a city character that matches the upcoming Russian Railways headquarters project that will be built east of the MOD development.

The western group of building has the taller two residential buildings which will have 55 floors each. These buildings look similar to the high-rise on the eastern part of the complex. Each high-rise is topped with a golden crown that contains six floors of penthouses. Flanked by the two taller high-rise buildings is a school that is three stories tall. This building is composed of soft edges and flowing lines that contrast with the other austere high-rises buildings and jagged mid-rise buildings.
