Grupo Roble plans to construct the first of three corporate office buildings in 18 months from July 2020 with a planned opening in 2022. “This will be a new attraction for the city,” said the vice president of Grupo Roble, Alberto Poma.

Poma added that this project fulfills the current, unmet market demand for the design, location, image, services, and security that the corporate center will offer.

The first tower will rise 13 levels, with 14,000 square meters of rentable space, distributed across nine levels. The center will also have a lobby, outside gathering space, and 520 parking spaces distributed over three levels. The building will also sit next to a Multiplaza Shopping Center, owned by Grupo Roble.

In addition, the tower will be earthquake-resistant and contain renewable energy systems to be more environmentally friendly and reduce the costs of electricity, water, and waste treatment. It will also be LEED-certified and be constructed to ISO 9001 certifications.

The project will have a water-cooled air conditioning system, an energy-management system, and an emergency power generator for the entire building. A building management system (BMS) will be utilized to integrate all communications, along with a rigorous security system, with video surveillance and monitoring.

Grupo Roble's investment is expected to generate 500 direct jobs and approximately 1,500 indirect jobs.
