New Look Revealed for Fort Worth High-Rise Apartments
The latest renderings of a proposed 12-story apartment building in downtown Fort Worth show an updated look for the building's exterior. Fort Worth's design review board is reviewing the plans for The Jones at 1000 Jones St, which is currently a parking lot across from Fort Worth Central Station. Earlier details about the project indicated that it would house 408 residential units and a 10-story garage.
Miami-based developer Resia is behind The Jones, which is the latest among several major residential projects in downtown. Of these, The Jones is offering some of the highest number of residential units.
Developments in the works include the 27-story Deco 969 apartments at 969 Commerce St. Initial plans for The Jones showed 240 one-bedroom units, 144 two-bedroom units and 24 three-bedroom units. The proximity to the Fort Worth rail station creates an easy commute to Dallas or take a train to DFW Airport.
