Swire Properties has once again filed plans with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to build a supertall tower at Brickell City Centre in Miami.

According to plans filed March 29, the 80-story One Brickell City Centre tower will rise 1,040 feet (317 meters) above ground, or 1,049 feet (319 meters) above sea level. The tower is being designed by Arquitectonica

It is nearly five years since Swire Properties first applied for approval to build a supertall at 700 Brickell Avenue. The height in the new application is identical to a plan submitted for the site in October 2013.

Approval of the first application was granted in June 2015, after about 20 months of review. An extension was granted in late 2016, and expires in June 2018 if construction does not commence by then.
