The San Benito District of San Salvador will soon host a new 20-story medical tower. The Torre Humana project will have an area of ​​30,000 square meters, with nine levels for clinics.

Humana Medical Center will be the third building built by the developer Calidad Inmobiliaria in the capital city, with an investment of US$30 million. According to the company, it is presented as an alternative to meet the needs of the country’s medical sector.

The construction company, Qualicons, is scheduled to begin work in 2020.

Of the total levels, nine will be for clinics, one for specialized centers, one for businesses related to health and amenities, and one for offices related to the medical sector such as pharmaceutical, insurance, and medical equipment. The remaining levels will be parking, with capacity for more than 500 vehicles.

In addition, it will have differentiated access for visitors and users, with the aim of achieving rapid fluidity within the building. Each level will be equipped with waiting rooms, and a multi-purpose terrace will be accessible to all.

Vicente Jo, Director of New Business at Qualicons, said: “We appreciate the confidence placed by Inmobiliaria by allowing us to build their new project, Medical Tower: Humana, which will undoubtedly become a new icon that will provide an unparalleled experience as to health and well-being.”

The inauguration of Humana is scheduled for 2023. The development is expected to generate 500 direct, 350 indirect and 400 permanent jobs in the facilities.
