Brunswick Quay on the Liverpool waterfront will be the setting for the Fletcher-Rae designed development of just over 550 flats with ground floor commercial space.

The site has had a checkered past with a previously planned 51 story tower rejected by the secretary for state for communities in 2006.

The tallest block will rise to nearly 40 meters or 16 floors. Buildings will be linked by landscaped garden piazzas, set above secure enclosed car parking.

Lower floors of the building envelopes with be clad in red stone with cream metal cladding above.

The Brunswick Quay scheme is projected to sustain an average of 200 full-time jobs during its construction over three and a half years.

The project’s design team consists of: Hannans (Building Services); Abacus (Cost Consultant); Integra (Structural Engineers); Mott Macdonald (Highways); Optimised Environments (landscape architect).
