The Ritz-Carlton, Portland, officially opened on October 31, 2023. This 35-story hotel, featuring 251 rooms, marks the first Ritz-Carlton establishment in the Pacific Northwest. Positioned in downtown Portland, it provides views of the city, known as the Rose City. Alongside its well-appointed guest rooms and suites, the hotel offers a distinctive restaurant and bar, state-of-the-art health, and wellness facilities, and an expansive 17,000 square feet of event space. 

The building's architecture draws inspiration from the columnar basalt formations in the region. It incorporates a sequence of stormwater planters that are activated by rainfall. The design culminates with a glass dome in the shape of a gem, and illuminates at night, making the building a distinctive addition to the Portland skyline.
