Originally signed in 2017, the hotel and residential project, G Wanda Vista Istanbul, officially opened. The project is located near Istanbul’s New International Airport in the emerging business district of Bagcilar. The project is part of the same complex as project G Yoo. G Wanda Vista Istanbul alone has 127 hotel rooms and 320 serviced apartments. Currently, over 80 percent of the residential units are sold.

The project was jointly built by the Turkey real estate developer, Mar Yapi, and the China based asset management company, Wanda Hotels and Resorts. This is the first time that a Wanda Hotels & Resorts development has been build outside of China. The project was designed by the international design firm Philip Starck.

The design is meant to showcase elegance using Chinese Taoism and natural design elements. The project contains a 242- square-meter (2,600-square-foot) fitness center which includes a gym, yoga room, spa, swimming pool, and children’s playground. There are also four restaurants and bars on the complex.
